A coffee table at eighteen inches — low enough to sit right with a sofa, wide enough to actually use. Small is 32 inches long, large is 42.
Underneath, steel C-channel braces run the width of the top. They're not decorative: a solid wood top this size wants to cup and warp over years, and the steel stops it. You'll never see them. You'll notice if they weren't there.
Four woods, made to order.
Honest notes
- Steel C-channel bracing underneath on both sizes, to prevent warping over time.
- Oak takes stain, and we offer five finishes. Maple, walnut and mahogany are finished natural, because they're better that way.
- This is solid wood. Grain and colour will vary from the photograph — that's the material behaving correctly, not a flaw.
- 26–32 lb depending on size. Assembly required.

Care
Finished in Odie's Universal Oil — a food-safe hardwax oil with no solvents or heavy metals. It bonds into the wood rather than sitting on top, so it can't peel or flake, and it's repairable in place: re-oil the spot rather than stripping the whole piece.
