A side table nine inches deep. That's the whole idea — it slides in beside a sofa or a bed where a normal side table won't fit, and still gives you somewhere to put a drink, a book and a lamp.
The Timber design balances a thin top on two trestles, so the piece reads light even though it's solid hardwood throughout.
Four woods, several colors, three standard heights, and a wireless charger if you want one built into the top.
Height
27, 28 or 29 inches, measured to the underside of the top, all at the same price. Twenty-eight is standard and suits most sofas and beds.
If you need something outside that range we'll build it — choose Custom height and tell us the measurement. That's $25, which covers re-cutting the trestles to a one-off length.
Honest notes
- Nine inches deep is narrow by design. Measure your space first — it's meant to tuck in.
- Oak takes stain, and we offer four finishes. Walnut, maple and mahogany are finished natural, because they're better that way.
- Mahogany darkens with age rather than fading. Walnut lightens slightly in sunlight. Both are expected.
- This is solid wood. Grain and colour will vary from the photograph — that's the material behaving correctly, not a flaw.
- The wireless charger works through the wood — nothing visible on the surface.

The charging option puts a Qi charging pad underneath the tabletop, bonded to the underside. Nothing sits on the surface and there's no cord on the table. You put your phone down on the marked spot and it charges through the wood.

Things worth knowing before you choose it
- It isn't magnetic. There's no MagSafe snap to line your phone up for you — you place it on the marked spot and it will begin charging.
- It charges through a case, except Otter Box or thick heavy duty cases. But the case and the tabletop together have to stay under about an inch and a quarter. Ours is well within that.
- It's a bit slower than a cable. Wireless charging always is.
If any of that makes it the wrong choice for you, order the table without it. It's the same table.
Care
Finished in Odie's Universal Oil — a food-safe hardwax oil with no solvents or heavy metals. It bonds into the wood rather than sitting on top, so it can't peel or flake, and it's repairable in place: re-oil the spot rather than stripping the whole piece.

Charging works well
I LOVE THIS TABLE!!! They’re so functional and easy to use! Though if you have a thicker phone case you do have to take it off to use the charger, but I just opted to update my phone case LOL
Mine arrived broken. Was obvious that it was packaged well to try to prevent this. Dont know what those UPS guys do but geez, took some effort to break hardwood like that! Contacted customer service as soon as I saw and sent pics. They emailed me a return label within a few hours. I taped the box back up and dropped it to ups. A week later a new one was shipped and it arrived in perfect condition. Great customer service. Great table. Thank you!

Took longer to get than I would’ve liked, but still a quality table. May buy another.
Had a West Elm table by our couch but wife didn’t think it went with the rest of everything. These fit much better. Would recommend

Looked for something like this for a while because we have an oddly shaped living room that doesn't leave much space for end table at the ends of the couch. settled on these because I really liked the design. Took almost three weeks to arrive but that's understandable since it's a small business that makes them when they're ordered. Was slightly hesitant because of the price but I didn't want something cheap and crappy that'd always be wobbly or only last a year. Impressed the the solidness. I am pleased. And more importantly, wife is pleased!
Well packaged so no damage in shipping, sturdy, good looking and extremely functional. It is a perfect small table for laptop or food when sitting on the couch.

No problem with this, easy install, strong stand
I was hesitant to buy at first because of the price. But when I read reviews I was like, why not. So I did purchase it and I’m glad I did. I’m happy of it’s quality and look. I used it for my orchids for now.
It is way more sturdy than it looks
This table looks nice and is functional. Much better than the old TV trays that were shaky and you had to fold up. Slides out of the way easily used as an end table, or you can pull it right up to your couch for eating a meal (bottom part slides right under your couch).

This is second one I have bought.. It’s perfect to sit beside your couch for drinks, controls. etc. And then if you want to eat in front of the tv it just slides under the couch and you have a little table
I’m elderly female with fair amount of buying things to be assembled. So happy this came fully assembled. Packaged a bit weird, but nothing was scratched or dented or broken.

Strength & stability! Since it seems very well constructed it seems like the top could hold a lot of weight. Although I wont be sitting on it because I'm also a lot of weight! LOL. But I dont regret the purchase. Love the design and get a lot of comments and questions

Ordered one for my husband. I liked it so much I wanted one for me.
This is the perfect side table for my recliner. My living room is oblong and my recliner has to have space from my reclining sofa. This little table works perfectly! The quality is very good for the price, and it perfectly matches my coffee table & end tables.
