The Torch was built around a gap — the space beside a sofa or a bed where an ordinary side table won't fit. It holds a drink, a book and a lamp, then gets out of the way.

How we work

  • Honest materials

    Solid American hardwood — maple, walnut, mahogany, white oak — from sustainably managed US forests. Finished with Odie's Universal Oil: food safe, with no petroleum solvents, no driers and no heavy metals. Every material is listed on every product page, including the ones that aren't glamorous.

  • Truthful photographs

    What you see is the piece you get. Real wood, real grain, real light. We don't retouch away a knot, make products look different than what you'll get, and we show the variation you should expect — because the variation is the point. Some have been inserted into settings to give you a better idea of what they'll look like in your home.

  • Made to order, shipped in weeks

    Most makers quote two to three months. Right now everything leaves our shop within 10 business days — boards, side tables, consoles, coffee tables alike. Made by hand, and a season sooner than anyone else will quote you.

If it isn't right, it isn't right.

Every piece is inspected before it's packed. If yours arrives damaged, or it isn't what the page described, tell us and we'll make it right.

You cancel free until we start cutting. After that we ask only for the cost of the wood — your species, in your size, already bought and cut for you. Nothing beyond that. No restocking fee.

We'd rather lose the sale than lose your trust.
