It’s an end table. A lamp and a glass. It isn’t built to be sat on and it isn’t a stool, whatever the proportions suggest.
The braces between the legs are structural, not decoration. They’re what lets the legs stay this slender without the whole thing racking when someone leans on a corner.
Give it two weeks before you’re rough with it. The oil finish takes fourteen days to cure — keep it dry and out of direct sun until then.
Oak takes stain and we offer four finishes. Maple and walnut are finished natural, because they’re better that way.
