Stone 'Nook' Table

A small table for a room that doesn’t have space for one.
Normal table height, small footprint. It fits the corner of a kitchen, a landing, the end of a galley — the places you’d like to eat breakfast but can’t fit a dining set. It’s the same footprint as the Perch, lowered to where a dining chair works.
The legs are half-round — a flat face inward, a curve outward — and they lean out slightly as they drop. The top is bevelled underneath with the corners rounded hard. Put together it means there isn’t a sharp edge anywhere on the piece. Where a diamond is all facets, Stone is what the river does to a rock over a long time.
Honest notes
- This is the short one, despite what “cafe table” usually means. Normal chairs, normal height.
- Two people, comfortably. It isn’t a dinner party table and isn’t pretending to be.
- Give it two weeks before you’re rough with it. The oil finish takes fourteen days to cure — keep it dry and out of direct sun until then.
- Oak takes stain and we offer four finishes. Maple and walnut are finished natural.
